    Hello,

    I am having trouble doing the setup of the template file in my theme’s folder.

    I have tried, but without success.

    I am wondering if you would be able to help me. I am using x-theme pro version, which has a hierarchy with theme page template files, depending on the stack chosen. Not sure if this is where I am going wrong.

    I would like to be able to use a sidebar for single events if possible.

    I currently placed it in the child theme folder….
    Thanks,
    Sophie

    Hi there

    I have assigned this thread to my developer and he will be assisting you soon. Meanwhile it would be great if you can share your website URL and wp-admin credentials here in a private reply for him to check the issue.

    Thanks

    Hello,

    I found where to add my template – though it does not get applied if I add it to my child theme folder, and only if I add it to my themes folder – which I believe has implications when i update my theme??

    Also, when the new eventer.php template is used, my footer gets pulled to the sidebar, and the sidebar gets pushed underneath my content.

    Screenshot attached.

    This is my full template I am using:

    <?php

    // =============================================================================
    // eventer.PHP
    // —————————————————————————–
    // Single page output for eventer.
    // =============================================================================

    ?>

    <?php get_header(); ?>

    <div class=”x-container max width offset”>
    <div class=”<?php x_main_content_class(); ?>” role=”main”>

    <?php eventer_content(); ?>

    </div>

    <?php get_sidebar(); ?>

    </div>

    <?php get_footer(); ?>
