Automatic updates

When a valid license is stored, new versions appear in the standard WordPress update screens.

1. Go to Dashboard → Updates or Plugins → Installed Plugins.
2. Locate imi Facebook Widget.
3. Click Update Now.

Your connected accounts, saved feeds, shortcodes, and plugin settings are retained during a normal update.

Manual updates

1. Back up the website and database.
2. Download the latest plugin ZIP file from your account.
3. Go to Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin.
4. Upload the new ZIP file and choose the option to replace the installed version.

If the frontend still shows an older layout after updating, clear the relevant feed cache from Facebook Feeds → Feeds and purge any page-cache or CDN cache used by the website.
