Typography

The Typography section controls the font families used for the main categories of text across the Gaea theme. Each group can independently use a different Google Font.

Setting Description
Body Font Typography Sets the font family, weight, style, and size for all body paragraph text. Supports Google Fonts with a backup web-safe fallback.
Headings Font Typography Sets the font for H1, H2, and H3 headings globally — the primary display font that dominates visual hierarchy.
Sub Text Font Typography Controls the font for secondary text elements — captions, metadata, dates, author names, and similar supporting text.
H4 Font Typography Sets a dedicated font for H4 headings, often used for card titles, widget headings, and secondary panel titles.
Navigation Font Typography Controls the font family and weight for all primary navigation menu links.
Buttons Font Typography Sets the font used inside all button elements across the site.

Note: All font pickers support Google Fonts. Selecting a Google Font automatically enqueues it from Google’s CDN. For privacy and performance, consider self-hosting fonts using a plugin like OMGF.
