Blog

The Blog section controls the display of posts on the main blog page, category/tag archive pages, and blog list templates — the listing pages where multiple posts are shown together.

Setting Description
Blog Posts Page Title Sets the page title shown in the inner page header when viewing a single blog post. Default: ‘Blog’.
Blog Archive Page Title Sets the secondary bar title shown on blog archive pages (e.g. browsing by date). Default: ‘Archives:’.
Blog Tag Pages Title Sets the secondary bar title shown on tag archive pages. Default: ‘Tag Archives:’.
Blog Posts Layout Choose between a full-width List layout (one post per row) or a Grid layout (multiple posts per row). Default: List.
Display Post Title Toggle whether the post title is shown on blog listing pages.
Display Post Author Toggle whether the author name is shown on blog listing pages.
Display Post Date Toggle whether the publication date is shown on blog listing pages.
Display Post Categories Toggle whether category labels are shown on blog listing pages.
Display Featured Image Toggle whether the post’s featured image is shown on blog listing pages.
Link Featured Image to Lightbox When enabled, clicking the featured image opens the full-size image in a lightbox instead of navigating to the post.
Display Post Excerpt Toggle whether a short preview of the post content is shown in listings.
Strip HTML from Excerpt Removes HTML formatting from excerpts so only plain text is shown.
Excerpt Length (Words) Sets the number of words shown in the post excerpt. Default: 30.
Display Read More Button Toggle whether a ‘Read More’ button is shown on each listing item.

Note: These settings apply to the main blog page (set at Settings > Reading), category pages, and tag archive pages. Individual post pages are controlled separately under Single Blog Posts.
