The Staff post type is built into Gaea for showcasing team members, staff directories, volunteer lists, or leadership boards.

| Single Staff Page Title | Sets the page title in the inner page header when viewing an individual staff member’s detail page. Default: ‘Staff’. |
| Link Staff Posts | When enabled, clicking a staff member’s name or photo in a listing navigates to their full profile. |
| Link Type | When linking is enabled: Details in PopUp opens an overlay modal with the profile content. Single Staff Page navigates to the staff member’s full individual page. |
| Staff Thumbnail Link | When enabled, clicking the staff photo opens the full-size image in a lightbox. |
| Show Job Title/Position | Toggles whether the staff member’s job title or role is shown below their name in listings. |
| Display Post Excerpt | Toggles whether a short bio excerpt is shown in staff listings. |
| Strip HTML from Excerpt | Removes HTML formatting from the bio excerpt. |
| Excerpt Length (Words) | Sets the maximum number of words shown in the bio excerpt. Default: 30. |
| Display Read More Button | Toggles whether a ‘Read More’ link is shown on each staff listing item. |
| Read More Button Text | Sets the label text for the read more link. Default: ‘Read more’. |
Note: Staff profiles are created under Staff > Add New. Each profile supports a featured image (staff photo), bio in the content editor, and custom fields for social links and job title.
