The DB Update tab contains one-time database migration tools used when upgrading iSermons from older versions. Go to iSermons → Settings → DB Update. Always create a full database backup before running any of these tools.

Date Format Update

Required when upgrading from a version older than v2.2. This tool converts existing Date Preached field values to the standardised format required for sort-by-preached-date to work correctly. Run this once after upgrading — do not run it again on a site already on v2.2 or newer.

Default Views Count

Available since v2.4. Sets a starting view count for all existing sermons. Use this once when first enabling Sermon Views Tracking to give all existing sermons a baseline count rather than starting at zero. Only run once — it overwrites real view counts if run again.

Default Star Rating

Available since v2.4. Sets a default average star rating for all existing sermons. Use this once when first enabling the Star Rating feature to initialise all existing sermons with a starting average. Only run once — it overwrites real rating data if run again.
