Podcast Settings

All podcast configuration lives under iSermons → Settings → Podcast. Fill in these fields before submitting your feed to any podcast directory — they form the metadata that directories like Apple Podcasts display to listeners.

Feed Metadata Fields

  • Podcast Title – The name of your podcast as it appears in directories. Typically your church or ministry name.
  • Podcast Description – A short description of your podcast shown in directory listings.
  • Website Link – Your church or ministry homepage URL.
  • Copyright – Copyright notice for the feed, e.g. Copyright © 2025 Grace Church.
  • Webmaster Name – Name of the person managing the podcast feed.
  • Webmaster Email – Contact email for the feed webmaster (made public in the feed).
  • Author – Displayed as the “Artist” in Apple Podcasts — typically your church name or primary preacher.
  • Subtitle – A brief tagline for the podcast, e.g. Preaching and teaching from Grace Church.
  • Summary – A fuller description of the podcast used as a fallback in some podcast apps.
  • Owner Name – Name of the podcast owner used by Apple internally — usually your church name.
  • Owner Email – Contact email for the podcast owner. Should be a monitored inbox.
  • Cover Image – The podcast artwork. Must be at least 1400×1400 pixels in JPEG format to meet Apple Podcasts requirements. Click Add to upload via the Media Library.
  • Top Category – The primary Apple Podcasts category. For church sermons, Religion & Spirituality → Christianity is the standard choice.
  • Sub Category – The sub-category that best fits your content. Populated automatically based on your Top Category selection.

After filling in all fields, click Save Changes.
