Listing Options configure how vehicle/car listings are displayed, structured, and managed across the AutoStars theme.
Listing Display

Description
Show SOLD Listings
Select Yes to display listings that have been marked as SOLD by their author on the front end. Default: No.
Distance
Unit for displaying distance from a user’s location to a listing. Options: KMS or Miles. Default: KMS.
Categories
Show vehicle category tabs/rails on listing pages. Default: No.
Listing Submission
Setting
Description
File Upload Type Method
Choose how photos/files are uploaded in the listing form: Default (standard HTML file input) or WordPress Media (uses the WP media library uploader). Default: Default.
File Upload
Make the photo/file upload field mandatory when submitting a listing. Default: No.
Enable Paid Listing
Enable the paid listing system, requiring users to purchase a plan before submitting a vehicle. Default: Enabled.
Listing Status
Status assigned to newly submitted listings: “Under Review” (draft — admin must approve) or “Active” (published immediately). Default: Under Review.
Specification Display

Description
Categorized Specifications
Display vehicle specifications grouped by their category rather than as a flat list. Default: Yes.
Numeric Specification Type
How numeric specifications (e.g., mileage, engine size) are displayed in the listing form: Default (text input) or Slider. Default: Default.
Badges
Select up to 4 specifications to display as badge overlays on listing featured images (e.g., “New”, “Certified”).
Additional Specification
Select one specification to show as extra information on the homepage listing grid.
Title
Select one or more specifications that together form the listing title (e.g., Year + Make + Model).
Price
Select the specification used as the price field on listings.
Detail Specification
Select up to 4 specifications to show in the listing detail summary on the homepage grid.
Specification for Listing
Select which specifications appear on the listing archive/search results page.
Compare Specifications
Select specifications shown on the vehicle comparison page.
