The cause functionality of the theme need the ‘Payments imithemes‘ plugin to be active.
Important points to keep in mind while creating a cause:
- To use cause donation functionality, you must enable the ‘Payments imithemes’ plugin. Note, that this plugin is also couple with the ‘Events Booking’ functionality of the theme.
- Causes donations use PayPal as payment processor, you must input your PayPal information and currency info at your WP Dashboard => Appearance => Payment Options in order to use the donation functionality.
Cause Categories
The only taxonomy available for the cause posts is ‘Cause Category’. New categories can always be created while adding a new event or from your WP Dashboard => Causes => Causes Categories. Along with regular fields for any other taxonomy, cause category come along with a separate field;
- Upload an image which is used as header image for the cause category archive page.
