This theme uses the sermon posts to let you publish your very own ‘Podcast’ on Apple Podcasts app on iPhones, iPads and Mac. The process to publish your podcast is very simple, you just have to input your information at the WP Dashboard => Native Church => Theme Options => Podcast Options

Though all the fields in the options are self explanatory with little help available within the options page, however some important points are explained below:

Feed Language

You must define language of your feed for the Apple Podcasts app to properly show your podcast. Below is the list of all the available language codes:

Cover Image

Podcast cover image is very important aspect of your podcast when displayed in the app or in search. It must display your brand/company/church image properly. The image should be at least 1400px wide and 1400px high to let your podcast feed validated.

Choosing a correct podcast category is a most important step for your podcast popularity and right reach. Below is the list of all the podcast categories available for you to enter for your options:

Theme Options will auto populate your feed URL in the field which you can copy to submit it at the Apple Podcasts or share it your users for direct subscriptions to your podcasts. It should be like: https://yourwebsite.com/feed/?post_type=sermons

Taxonomy Specific Feed URL

You may submit multiple podcasts for different sermons categories/tags/speaker of your sermon posts. Taxonomy specific feed URL will be like:

Feed Validation

You must validate your feed URL prior submitting it to Apple Podcasts. This can be done at:

Though feeds get validated easily but sometimes it can show errors related to wrongly uploaded audio files or wrong information in the podcast options. You must check and correct them as per the Feed Validator errors/warnings.
