General Settings

The General Settings section controls site-wide utility features including maintenance mode, accessibility enhancements, analytics tracking, and code injection. These settings affect all pages across your Adore Church site.

Setting Description
Maintenance Mode When enabled, displays a maintenance page to all visitors who are not logged in as an administrator. Use this when performing updates or redesigns.
Print Stylesheet Enables a print-optimised stylesheet so that pages print cleanly without navigation menus, sidebars, or decorative elements.
Back To Top Button Displays a floating “Back to Top” button in the bottom corner of the screen. It appears after the user scrolls down and smoothly scrolls the page back to the top when clicked.
RTL (Right-to-Left) Mode Enables right-to-left text direction for Arabic, Hebrew, Urdu, and other RTL languages. This mirrors the layout so text and elements flow from right to left.
Include Extra Fields Adds additional custom fields to posts and pages in the WordPress admin editor. Useful for extending content with theme-specific metadata.
Tracking Code Paste your Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any other tracking snippet here. The code is inserted into the <head> section of every page.
Space Before </head> Any code entered here is injected just before the closing </head> tag on every page. Use this for meta tags, custom scripts that must load early, or third-party integrations.
Space Before </body> Any code entered here is injected just before the closing </body> tag. Best practice for JavaScript that should load after the page content — for example, chat widgets or performance-sensitive scripts.

Note: These settings affect the entire website. Changes take effect immediately on save.
