Layout Options control the overall width and structural presentation of your site. These settings determine whether the site spans the full browser width or is displayed within a centred fixed-width container.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Site Width | Sets the maximum width of your site’s content container in pixels. The default is 1080px and the recommended maximum is 1170px. Enter only the number — do not add ‘px’. |
| Page Layout | Choose between Wide and Boxed layout modes. Wide: the site spans the full browser width. Boxed: the site is contained in a centred box with a background visible on either side. |
| Repeatable Background Image | Only visible in Boxed mode. Select a repeating tile pattern to display behind the boxed content area. A gallery of built-in patterns is provided. |
| Upload Custom Background | Only visible in Boxed mode. Upload your own image to use as the repeating background pattern instead of the built-in options. |
| Full Screen Background Image | Only visible in Boxed mode. Upload a single full-resolution image to fill the entire browser background behind the boxed layout. |
Content Area Options
The Content sub-section inside Layout controls the inner page content area:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Top & Bottom Padding | Sets the top and bottom padding for the main content area of all pages. Default: 50px top and 50px bottom. |
| Minimum Content Height | Sets a minimum height for the page content area to prevent the footer from appearing too high on short pages. Default: 400px. |
| Content Area Background | Sets a background colour or image specifically for the content area (the space between the header and footer). |
| 100% Content Width | When enabled, the content area spans the full browser width. Only applies when using Wide layout mode. |
Note: Changing the layout type between Wide and Boxed immediately affects the visibility of the background image options.
