If you distribute a podcast through your site, these settings define the podcast’s global metadata — the information submitted to podcast directories like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts via your RSS feed.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Podcast Title | Enter the name of your podcast as it should appear in podcast directories. Example: Grace Community Church Sermons. |
| Podcast Description | Enter a description of your podcast for directory listings. Keep it clear and informative — 2 to 4 sentences is typical. Example: Weekly sermons from the preaching team at Grace Community Church, exploring the Bible and its relevance to everyday life. |
Setting Up Your Podcast Feed
After setting the title and description, your podcast RSS feed will be available at a URL similar to:
yourdomain.com/?post_type=sermons&feed=rss2
Submit this feed URL to podcast directories (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts) to list your sermons as a podcast.
Note: The Podcast section only controls global feed metadata. Individual episode details such as the audio file, episode number, and show notes are managed on each Sermon post.
