The Footer Options section controls the layout, content, and styling of the footer area — the bottom section of every page on your site.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Footer Layout | Choose how many columns the footer widget area uses. Options typically include 1, 2, 3, or 4 columns. Widgets can be assigned to each column from Appearance > Widgets. |
| Footer Style | Select a visual style for the footer. The style controls the overall colour scheme and design of the footer background and text. |
| Copyright Text | Enter the copyright notice displayed in the footer bar. You can include plain text, HTML links, and shortcodes. Example: © 2024 Church Name. All rights reserved. |
| Info Bar (Top Footer) | An optional bar displayed above the main footer widget columns. Useful for displaying a tagline, contact details, or a call-to-action strip. |
| Social Icons in Footer | Enable or disable the display of social media icons in the footer. Social profiles are configured separately in the Social section of Theme Options. |
| 100% Footer Width | When enabled, the footer stretches to the full browser width. When disabled, the footer content is constrained to the site width. |
| Footer Background Color | Sets a solid background colour for the footer widget area. Use the colour picker or enter a hex value. |
| Footer Background Image | Upload or select a background image for the footer. Supports position, repeat, and attachment (fixed/scroll) settings. |
| Footer Top/Bottom Padding | Controls the vertical padding inside the footer widget columns — the space between the top/bottom of the footer area and the widget content inside it. |
| Footer Border | Adds a top border line to the footer area to visually separate it from the page content above. |
Note: Footer widgets are managed via Appearance > Widgets. The number of widget areas corresponds to the column count set here.
