Subscribers can receive two types of emails, depending on your settings.
1. New Prayer Notifications
If enabled under:
Prayers → Settings → Notifications → Notify subscribers on new prayer
Subscribers receive an email whenever a new prayer is published.
This email:
- Uses the global email template
- Includes the prayer content
- May include a link to view the prayer (depending on your setup)
2. Weekly Prayer Digest
If enabled under:
Prayers → Settings → Notifications → Weekly Digest
Subscribers receive a weekly email that includes:
- All prayers submitted during the past week
- A clean, readable list format
- Links back to the prayer wall (if applicable)
When the Digest Is Sent
- The digest is sent automatically using WordPress cron
- It runs once per week
- The day and time are defined in the plugin logic
No manual action is required after enabling it.
Email Design
All subscription-related emails use the same template defined in:
Prayers → Settings → Email Template
This ensures consistent branding across:
- Subscription emails
- Digest emails
- Prayer notifications
- Dashboard login emails
