Eventer(version 3.11.5 or later) now supports developer actions and events when the Organizer Contact Form is successfully submitted — both on the frontend (JavaScript) and the backend (PHP).
You can use these to:
-
Redirect users after submission
-
Send tracking data to analytics
-
Trigger follow-up actions (e.g., webhook, CRM entry, logging, etc.)
✅ JavaScript:
eventer:organizerFormSuccess
Event
Fires after the form is submitted and confirmed via AJAX.
Usage:
document.addEventListener("eventer:organizerFormSuccess", function(e) {
const eventId = e.detail.event_id;
const form = e.detail.form;
// 🔁 Example: Redirect after 5 seconds
setTimeout(() => {
window.location.href = "/thank-you/";
}, 5000);
// 🔁 Or: Send event to Google Tag Manager or analytics
console.log("Organizer contact submitted for Event ID:", eventId);
});
Data available:
e.detail = {
form: <HTMLFormElement>, // The submitted form element
event_id: "1234", // The event ID the message was sent for
event_date: "2026-03-21" // (optional) The selected event date
}
✅ PHP:
eventer_organizer_contact_form_success
Action
Fires on the server after the form is processed and email sent.
Usage:
add_action('eventer_organizer_contact_form_success', function($event_id, $fields, $email_sent) {
if ($email_sent) {
// 🔁 Log the form submission
error_log("Form submitted for Event ID: $event_id");
// 🔁 Example: Send to custom CRM
// custom_crm_send($event_id, $fields);
}
});
Parameters:
-
$event_id (int) – The Event ID for which the form was submitted
-
$fields (array) – Submitted form fields: [ [ ‘name’ => ‘Name’, ‘value’ => ‘John Doe’ ], … ]
-
$email_sent (bool) – Whether the email to organizer was sent successfully
