Each event can run in ticket-only, RSVP-only, or both modes simultaneously. Individual events can also override every global RSVP default.
Setting the Registration Mode
- Open the event in the WordPress editor.
- In the Eventer meta box, open the Registration section.
- Set Registration Mode to one of:
- Tickets — standard ticket booking only (no RSVP shown).
- RSVP — RSVP form only (replaces the ticket booking form).
- Both — ticket booking and RSVP are both available on the event page.
- Configure any per-event overrides (see below).
- Save the event.
Per-Event Override Options
- RSVP Mode — Enable, Disable, or inherit from global setting.
- Capacity — Set a custom max RSVP count for this event (overrides global default).
- Waitlist — Enable or disable the waitlist for this event.
- Require Approval — On/Off override.
- Allow Guests — On/Off override.
- Allow “Maybe” — On/Off override.
- Invite Only — Restrict RSVPs to a specific list of email addresses.
- Invite Emails — Paste allowed email addresses (one per line, or comma/semicolon separated).
- Public Attendees — Show or hide the attendee list on the event page.
- Sync Ticket Status — Mirror the ticket booking status to the RSVP status automatically.
