Several time you may need to sell your tickets separately for each happening of your event. For example you have an event at a hotel, and it has 2 separate Tracks. You may want to sell different tickets for both track in there so that attendees pay only for the track they are interested in or may book for both tracks as per their choice.
Now this is possible with the Eventer plugin. You can add multiple ‘Time Slots‘ to any of your event and they are listed as an option to your website users at the event booking section.
By default ‘Time Slots’ are not mandatory to be selected at the time of booking but can make it mandatory by changing the option at your WP Dashboard => Eventer => Settings
There is also an option for you to make the ‘Time Slots’ selection mandatory or not at event level. Check the option while adding the time slots in your event:
How to add Time Slots
To add time slots to your event, look for ‘Time Slot‘ section while creating or editing your event post.
Be noted, that the time slots work only on ‘Single Day‘ events. Where event’s start and end date are same.
You can add any number of time slots for your event. It is recommended to keep your Time Slots range between the event start and end time. This doesn’t affect the booking process but helps your website users to better understand the event schedule.
- Use ‘Title’ field to enter your slot name, for example: ‘Opening Notes’.
- Now choose the start time of this session(slot)
- Choose the end time of the session
- You may add a short description as well for the slot however we are not using it yet for display purposes.
- Use the ‘Add Slot‘ button below to add a new session(slot)
It is advices to add to the time slots at the same time when you are defining(creating) tickets for your event.
Be noted that Eventer use time slots for bookings but the ticket quantity is maintained at the ‘Ticket Type’ level but not as per ‘Time Slot’.
