Booking Styles
There are 3 layout options for you to choose with when using the Woocommerce payment system with the Eventer plugin.
- Plugin: This will keep the booking flow exactly like it is without Woocommerce, means the booking form will open in the popup and the complete checkout process completes within it.
- Cart: This works like the basic Woocommerce shop where your tickets(products) will be listed in place of the default tickets with an ‘Add to cart‘ button for each type of tickets. Users can add tickets to their cart and checkout with the default Woocommerce cart and checkout flow of your website.
- Popup with Woocommerce Checkout: This works like combination of the default popup registration but with the payment/checkout process finished on the default Woocommerce checkout page.
Which layout to choose among the above?
Ans. If you like the popup booking layout as default, then you must choose the ‘Plugin‘ layout else ‘Cart‘ is a good choice when people doesn’t like the popup. ‘Popup with Woocommerce Checkout‘ comes handy when your website sells other products as well and you would like the users to purchase & checkout other products of your website along with event tickets.
Thanks page redirect
By default once a user checkout Woocommerce tickets, they are redirected to order confirmation page of the Woocommerce but you can select ‘Yes‘ in the option to redirect the user back to your event page after the payment completion.
Add Order
This is a recommended option and you should keep it as ‘Yes’. This let the Eventer plugin to create a default Woocommerce order along with the Eventer’s booking order. This helps in managing the payment status and other order details as offered by Woocommerce.
