Viewing Reservations (Admin)

Once bookings are made, you can inspect the exact seat assignments for any event slot directly from the WordPress admin.

Accessing the Reservations View

  1. Open the event in the WordPress editor.
  2. Scroll to the Seat Plan meta box.
  3. If the event has multiple slots, select the date/slot from the slot dropdown.
  4. Click View Reservations.

What the Reservations Table Shows

For the selected slot, you can see:

  • Seat — row and seat number (e.g. B-12).
  • Zone — the seating zone the seat belongs to.
  • Status — Reserved (confirmed booking), Held (in checkout), or Available.
  • Attendee Name — the buyer’s name linked to the booking.
  • Booking Reference — the order/booking ID.
  • Booking Status — paid, pending, refunded, etc.

Releasing a Seat Manually

If you need to free a seat that is reserved (e.g. a refunded booking), cancel or delete the booking from Eventer → Bookings. The seat is released automatically when the booking status changes to cancelled or refunded.

Capacity Overview

The top of the reservations panel shows a summary: total seats, reserved, held, and available — giving a quick overview of fill rate for the selected slot.
