Frontend RSVP Flow

When RSVP is enabled for an event, visitors see a dedicated RSVP form on the event single page.

Submitting an RSVP

  1. The visitor enters their name and email address.
  2. They select a response: Going, Not Going, or Maybe (if enabled).
  3. If guest support is on, they can enter how many additional guests they are bringing.
  4. On submission, a confirmation email is sent immediately.

Edge cases handled automatically:

  • Approval required — the RSVP enters “Pending” state and the visitor receives a pending-approval email.
  • At capacity + waitlist on — the visitor is added to the waitlist and notified.
  • Invite only — only email addresses on the invite list can submit the form.

Managing an RSVP

Every RSVP confirmation email contains a personal “Manage RSVP” link. From that page the attendee can:

  • Change their response (e.g. Going → Not Going).
  • Update their name or guest count.
  • Cancel their RSVP entirely.

The manage link remains active for the number of days configured in Manage Link (Days After End) in global settings (default: 7 days).

Public Attendee List

If Public Attendees is enabled for the event, the event page shows a list of confirmed (Going) attendees — first name only — below the event details. This social proof can help drive additional RSVPs.
