Having schema of your events is very important for your website’s Google search. When people search for activities to do at home, videos and online events appear in an immersive rich result. By adding Event structured data, your online events may already be eligible for this rich result, with no additional steps needed.
Eventer comes with inbuilt schema setup for your event posts and you can enable it from your WP Dashboard => Eventer => Settings
How it works
For the schema to work and show your events in Google results. There are few things you must have in your event for the schema function to work.
- Better title for your events
- Venues must have correct address and geolocation data
- Organiser should have phone, email added
If everything is added to your event properly, then it will show in Google search results like this example:
